Cinnamon stew chicken wings

Receipe

I harvested coriander from my garden last week and make a simply homely dish with it. It has slight cinnamon sweet taste. Below is the receipe.

CINNAMON STEW CHICKEN WINGS

Serves: 5 persons

Ingredients
1 Kg thaw frozen chicken wings
6 medium sized potatoes cut to cubes
1 onion sliced
1/2 cinnamon bark, soak in warm water for 10 mins
2-4 pieces dried chilli to taste, removed seeds if you do not want too spicy
harvested coriander
Chicken stock (I used prepared chicken stock, stew from chicken bones and saved scrape vegetables such as organic asparagus skin, carrot top/bottom, broccoli skins etc)

Seasonings for marinating chicken wings ( 2 – 4 hours)
3 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp brown sugar
1 tbsp dark soya sauce
sesame oil to taste
dash of pepper
corn flour

Method: Using medium fire
1. stir fry onion, dried chilli and cinnamon bark
2. add in potatoes, stir fry for 5 minutes
3. add in marinated chicken wings, stir fry for 5 – 8 minutes
4. add in chicken stock
5. wait for it to boil
6. lower the fire and stew the chicken wings and potatoes until cooked and soften
7. Remove the cinnamon and dried chilli if you prefer lighter taste
8. Serve
